Group chats, importing calendars and reporting a person
Chats with several people at once; importing a calendar from an .ics file; report someone who bothers you from chats, channels or Friends, with the option to block them at the same time; a warmer light background and golden details in dark mode; and two fixes.
New
- Checklists in cards. Steps inside each card, ticked off without opening the editor; the board shows how many are done, like "2/5". More in Boards.
- Undo and redo on boards, with Ctrl+Z or the arrows: moving, editing and deleting cards and lists. More in Boards.
- Choose which notifications you get, and which ones by email too, in Settings → Notifications. By email only goes what's still unread after 10 minutes. More in Notifications.
- Leave someone else's workspace from Settings → Workspace. More in Workspaces.
- Import a calendar (.ics). In the calendar's ⋯ menu, Import .ics brings in the events exported from another app (with their times, all-day and recurring events) into the workspace calendar or your personal one. Importing the same file twice doesn't duplicate anything. More in Calendar.
- Group chats. Press + in Chats and choose New group: give it a name and pick who joins (3 to 50 people). From Members and settings you can rename it, add people and leave. More in Chats.
- Report a person. In chats, in a voice channel's chat and in Friends, each person's ⋯ menu now has Report…, next to Block. Choose the reason, tell us more if you want and block them at the same time. A person on the Tylode team reviews it, and they aren't told who reported them. More in Block and report.
Improvements
- Archived mail in view. Above the list, Inbox or Archived, and Unarchive inside the thread.
- Warmer colors. The light mode background is now a warmer cream, and in dark mode selected items and borders have a golden touch.
Fixes
- Mail replies reach everyone. Before, replying to a thread didn't mark it unread for the others, and whoever had archived it didn't see the reply.
- Events that last several days now show on every one of their days in the calendar, including those that started the month before. Those that run past midnight show on the next day with the time they end.
- The language no longer changes on its own. If you came in for the first time with your browser in another language, Tylode could switch to Spanish when you moved around or installed an extension. Now it stays in yours.
- Typing in pages from Safari. Safari's autofill could cause an error while typing in the page editor. Not anymore.
