Plans and pricing

Tylode has three plans: Free, Pro and Premium. Your plan belongs to you, not to a workspace, and each workspace gets the best plan among its owners. This page lists what each plan includes and explains which plan applies when you work in someone else's workspace.

#Prices

• Prices include VAT.
• Yearly billing saves about 20% and is charged once a year, in a single payment.
• Free has no end date and doesn't ask for a card. Pages are unlimited on every plan.
• Payments are processed by Stripe.

#Pro trial

Every new account starts with 7 days of Pro free, no card needed. The first time you sign in, a window tells you and shows when it ends; you can also see it in Settings → Billing → Plan and payments.

• During the trial you get everything in Pro, except the AI assistant, which is limited to 50 credits.
• To keep Pro, click Keep Pro in Billing. While the founder offer lasts, you can also become a founder: besides the price, it gives you the Founder badge.
• If you do nothing, you go back to Free when it ends, without being charged. What you've created stays, with Free's limits: for example, existing formulas keep working, but you can't create new ones.

Files you insert directly into a page are limited to 10 MB on every plan. The 5 GB per file applies to My drive, chats, Mail, cards, whiteboards and Studio; what changes from plan to plan is storage.

A command to the assistant uses 1 credit and a page summary uses 4. Credits renew on the 1st of each month.

#Which plan is right for you

• Free is for trying Tylode and for personal use: unlimited pages, two boards, whiteboards and databases, and a workspace of up to three people.
• Pro is for freelancers, students with heavy use and small teams: 25 members, 15 GB, formulas and relations in databases, calls without a time limit, the brand kit, PowerPoint export and the API.
• Premium is for larger teams and heavy Studio users: unlimited members, workspaces, boards, whiteboards and databases, 250 GB, unlimited history, Premium designs and the audit log.

#Plans are per person

Each person has their own plan, and nobody pays for anyone else. Three plans come into play whenever you work in a workspace:

• Your plan (account plan): the one you pay for, or Free.
• The workspace's plan: the best plan among the workspace's owners. It updates automatically when an owner changes plan, or when owners are added or removed. You can see it in Settings → Workspace → Workspace details → Plan.
• Your effective plan in that workspace: the lower of the two. A Free account in a Pro workspace has Free as its effective plan, and so does a Pro account in a Free workspace.

In the app, Settings → Billing → Plan and payments reminds you: "The plan is yours, not the workspace's: personal things (AI, My drive, Studio) go with your account. Each workspace gets the best plan among its owners."

#Which plan decides each thing

#Example: a Free member in a Pro workspace

Lucía has Pro and owns the workspace "Studio Lumen", so the workspace is Pro. She invites Marta, who has a Free account.

• Joining: Free allows one workspace, and Marta already has her own. The invitation offers Freeze my workspace and join: her workspace becomes read-only until she goes back to it (see Frozen workspaces). Marta also takes one of the workspace's two Free-account places.
• What she gets from the workspace: everything that depends on the workspace's plan is Pro: 15 GB of storage, 90 days of page history, and voice calls with no time limit and up to 25 people.
• What her effective plan limits: her effective plan is Free. She can see and edit everything, including existing formula columns, but she can't create formula, relation or rollup columns, and she can only create a board, whiteboard or database while the workspace has fewer than two of that kind.
• What stays personal: she has 15 AI credits a month, Studio exports carry the watermark, and she can't create API tokens.

#Example: a Pro member in a Free workspace

Pablo has Pro. Sara, who has Free, invites him to her workspace, which is therefore Free.

• What he gets from the workspace: Free capacity: 3 people in total, 1 GB of storage, 7 days of history, and calls that end after 30 minutes with up to 5 people.
• What his effective plan limits: his effective plan there is Free, so he can't create formula, relation or rollup columns, create more than two boards, whiteboards or databases, use the brand kit or set up webhooks in that workspace.
• What stays personal: he can be in up to 3 workspaces, has 350 AI credits a month, uses Studio's Pro features and can use the API.
• How to change it: if Sara makes Pablo an owner, the workspace takes the best plan among its owners and becomes Pro. See Members.

#Free accounts in paid workspaces

A Pro or Premium workspace can include at most 2 Free accounts. Beyond that, anyone who joins needs their own Pro or Premium plan.

• Settings → Workspace → Members and permissions shows the count: "Free accounts in this workspace: 1 of 2. Beyond that, new members need their own Pro or Premium plan."
• When both places are taken, inviting the email of a Free account fails, and a Free account can't accept an invitation.
• Nobody who is already in the workspace is removed. Frozen members don't take up a place.
• In a Free workspace this rule doesn't apply: the 3-member limit does.
