RRSS Planner
RRSS Planner is a Tylode extension for planning what you'll post on social media. You put your posts on a calendar and, next to it, see how your Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or LinkedIn profile will look once they're published. You can use it alone or with your team, and send posts to your clients for approval.
It's optional: it only shows up if you install it.
Install RRSS Planner
- Go to Settings → Extensions.
- Click Install on the RRSS Planner card.
Personal and team accounts
An account is a profile with all its networks. When you create one you choose whose it is:
- Personal: only you see it.
- Team (if you're a workspace admin): it belongs to the workspace. Whoever you choose works on it, and it stays even if someone leaves.
Set the name, @, photo, bio and time zone (posting times are in that zone). To make a network different (another @, bio or photo), open Account settings and pick its tab: anything you leave empty uses the general details. On each network you can also set its numbers (followers, following and likes), which are what the simulator shows.
How many accounts fit
Personal accounts and those in workspaces you own count:
| Plan | Accounts |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 |
| Pro | 3 |
| Premium | 5, plus 10 more per agency pack (€10 a month, VAT included) |
Packs are bought in Settings → Billing. If you downgrade or remove packs nothing is deleted: the extra accounts become read-only and the most recent ones that fit can be edited.
An account's team
On a team account, the Team tab in its settings sets what each workspace member can do:
- Manager: changes the account and its team, and approves.
- Editor: creates and edits posts and sends them for review.
- Viewer: looks and comments.
Workspace admins are managers of every team account.
Add posts
Click New post, the + on a calendar day or the + in Ideas. For each post you choose:
- Social networks: Instagram, Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn. You can tick several: the same video can go to Reels, TikTok and Shorts, and shows in all their simulators. The strictest limit applies.
- Date and time (in the account's zone). Without a date, the post stays in the idea bank.
- Caption, with character and hashtag counters, the account's templates and Write with Tylor, which writes or improves the caption from your idea (uses AI credits).
- Title, if it goes to YouTube Shorts.
- First comment, location and tagged people.
- Photos and videos: with Instagram, up to 10 in a carousel (and up to 20 on LinkedIn); with Reels, TikTok or Shorts, one video and its cover (if you don't upload one, a frame is picked when you save). Photos can be cropped to 4:5, 1:1, 9:16 or 1.91:1.
- Pillar, campaign, its owner and due date.
- Status: idea, draft or approved, and the Posted box. To bring in something you already posted, tick Already posted.
- Pin to the top of the profile (up to 3) and, on Instagram, Hide from main grid.
Next to the form you see how the caption looks (what's left before “… more”), what to check before posting (aspect ratios, length, caption, hashtags, cover…) and the workspace brand kit colors and logo.
Review and approval
On team accounts a post goes draft → in review → approved (or changes requested). An editor sends it for review; a manager approves it or requests changes with a note. Each step is kept in the post's comments and notifies the right people, in the bell and on the phone. When it's time for something approved, Tylode reminds you: time to post.
Views and filters
- Calendar: month or week, with the ideas bank next to it. Drag a post to another day, an idea to a day or a post back to ideas. At the top you see the pillar balance of what's on screen.
- List: everything in rows, with pillar, campaign, status, owner and due date.
- Board: one column per status.
Filter by network, pillar, campaign, status or only mine. Pillars, campaigns and templates are created in the Planning tab of the account settings.
The simulator
On the right you see the profile as it will look with everything posted: pinned first, then the newest.
- Instagram: the grid (with reels, except hidden ones) and the Reels tab.
- TikTok: the video grid.
- YouTube: the channel's Shorts.
- LinkedIn: the page's posts.
Click a post to see it with its carousel and its caption cut like in the app (… more). On vertical videos, Show what the app covers marks the areas covered by the buttons. Already-posted items carry a Posted mark. You can view it in light or dark mode.
On the free plan you see the next 9 posts. On paid plans you see everything and can pick a day to see how it will look.
For clients (Premium)
- Approval link: in the Clients tab of the account settings, create a link for your client. With it, without a Tylode account, they see what's in review or approved, approve it, request changes or comment, and the team gets notified. The link is shown only once; you can set an expiry and revoke it.
- Monthly report: the Report button summarizes what was planned and posted in a month (by network, status, pillar and campaign, plus approvals). Print it or save it as PDF from the browser.
Post to your networks
Share to post (all plans)
In a saved post, Share to post copies the caption and, on your phone, opens the share menu with its photos or video: pick the network's app and paste the caption. On a computer, it downloads the files and copies the caption.
Publish automatically (Pro and Premium)
Connect an account's networks and approved posts go out on their own at their time, without opening each network's app.
- Open Account settings → Connections and click Connect on the network. The network asks for your permission and sends you back to Tylode.
- In the post, tick Publish automatically at its time (in the Publish section). It needs a date, a time and to be approved.
- At its time (in the account's time zone) it's published on each connected network. Below you see how it went on each one, with a link to the post. You get a notification when it goes out and if something fails (it retries up to 3 times).
Publish now publishes it on its connected networks without waiting. Networks on the post that aren't connected have to be posted by hand.
What you can connect:
- LinkedIn: your personal profile. The permission lasts about 60 days; when it expires, the account says so and you connect it again.
- YouTube Shorts: your channel. For now, YouTube keeps uploaded videos private until it reviews Tylode; you make them public in YouTube Studio.
- Instagram (and Reels): your professional Instagram account (business or creator). It posts one photo, a carousel of up to 10, or a video as a reel. Photos must be JPG (cropping them in Tylode saves them as JPG). The permission lasts 60 days and renews itself as long as you keep posting.
- TikTok: your account. It posts a video or photos (JPG or WebP, up to 35). In the post, the TikTok section shows which account it goes out from and asks you to choose who can view it (nothing is preselected), whether comments, duets and stitches are allowed, and whether it's commercial content (your brand or branded content, which can't be private). Without choosing the visibility it isn't published.
Each network opens to everyone once it approves Tylode; until then only test accounts can connect.
In the iPhone app you can connect LinkedIn and TikTok. YouTube and Instagram, for now, are connected from the browser.
Only whoever manages the account (its owners) can connect or disconnect networks. When you disconnect, Tylode asks the network to forget the permission and deletes its keys; what was posted stays on the network. Keys are stored encrypted and only used to publish what you schedule. RRSS Planner doesn't read network metrics.
Where your files go
Photos and videos are saved in the uploader's My drive, in RRSS/<account name>/<network>/, and use their storage like any other file. On a team account, the others see them without copies. A post with several networks keeps its files in a folder named after all of them, e.g. Instagram Reels + TikTok. If you change a post's networks, your files move to the right folder. If you delete a post, your files go to the My drive trash, where you can recover them.
